From our materials through to our design and production processes, Spring River is fully committed to making knitwear that does not impact negatively on the environment and people who make it. We focus on the health for all the workers involved, a product’s design, creation, and use maintain sustainable standards and the process of making these has a positive impact on communities.

Our Tonglu based factory is BSCI & SEDEX approved, Myanmar based factory is BSCI approved. All processes and practices are 100% BSCI/SEDEX compliant, ensuring you are dealing with an ethical and honourable company.

CERTIFICATES

The WRAP's objective is to independently monitor and certify the compliance with socially responsible global standards for manufacturing and ensure that manufactured products are produced under lawful, humane and ethical conditions.

Sedex is an abbreviated form of Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX). Sedex is a web-based database that helps companies to store information on the ethical practices within their business and that can be shared by their customers.

BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), the Business Social Compliance Initiative, conducts social compliance audits of BSCI members' global suppliers, covering issues such as legal compliance, freedom of association and collective bargaining rights, prohibition of discrimination, compensation, working hours, workplace safety, prohibition of child labour, prohibition of forced labour, environment and safety.

OCS-Organic Content Standard

Verifies the amount of a given organically grown material in a textile product,requiring that to take proper steps to ensure the integrity of the input material is preserved.

GOTS-Global Organic Textiles Standard

Grants full traceability of organic fibers through the supply chain from the farm to the final suppler,GOTS covers both environmental and social issues in textile supply chains.

GRS-Global Recycled Standard

Developed to verify the quantity of recycled fibers given product, provides a track and trace certification system that ensures that the claims are appropriately supported with documented evidence.

RWS-Responsible Wool Standard

Ensures that sheep are treated with five stars of freedom and ensures best practice in the management and conservation of the land. Through the processing stage, certification ensures that wool from certified farms is correctly identified and tracked.
